Lynchburg Farmers MarketThe Academy of the Arts Center will be hosting the Sunset on 7th outdoor concert series, at the Pacific Life Parking Lot. The concert series dates include May 8th, June 19th, and July 17th! Enjoy an evening of live music and social(ly distanced) gathering, from your own personal parking space pod.

The Lynchburg Community Market takes place in downtown Lynchburg every Saturday! The Lynchburg Community Market plays a vital role as a community gathering place and offers the very best products from the region, including farmers, artisans, crafters, restaurants, and more!

Lynchburg Parks and Recreation and 7 Hills Art Club will be hosting Art in the Park on May 15th, at Riverside Park. Enjoy exhibitions of local artists, interactive children’s activities, and live demonstrations including painting and wheel thrown pottery. Art in the Park will also feature an Art Walk on a paved trail with enlarged pictures of famous artwork with descriptions about the artist.

Revel in the revolutionary spirt of America’s Founding Fathers at Poplar Forest’s presentation of 1776—the Tony Award-winning comedy by Sherman Edwards and Peter Stone based on the events leading up to the drafting and signing of the Declaration of Independence. Bring a picnic dinner, a blanket or chairs, and friends and family for an evening of theatre under the stars, with performance dates June 24th to 26th.
